Tasting Notes
"Even at barrel proof, the aroma shows a deep maple/caramel profile along with brown butter, toasted oak and orange peel. It's a bit chewy and dry as you taste, but the bittersweet flavors show vanilla with apple pie to go along with the hearty oak. Add a splash of water or a big rock to find bright citrus, anise, and dried herb scents and bitter chocolate flavors. Complex whiskey with a long lasting finish. One to seek out. "
