Wow this top shelf material for a rye! No burn but a great blend of rye and allspice with a nice peppery finish. So smooth when introduced with a cube or two of ice!
Bubble gum to start & then mint on the nose. 50/50 wintergreen and spearmint. Light. Really fantastic up front.
The taste is good- but minty to me. Same with the finish. I do enjoy it but it’s a moderation pour
Uncorking- taste test against Michter's, Russell's 6yr, and Pikesville.
Nose- sweet with plenty of rye spice. Taste - getting vanilla and rye. Not sure it's a perfect blend. Grass notes lughter. Nothing jumping out as unique but a very solid rye. This was my 2nd choice of the mix but probably coming in as the most standard of the 3.
