The nose I'd like to describe it; imagine sticking your face in a newly constructed oak cabinet and one of the drawers is filled with tangerines. That's the nose you'll get with this one, very interesting. The taste has a bit of a bite to it, especially on the front of the tongue. You need to stick around with this one, first impressions on the taste are not kind, this bourbon doesn't want to be your friend necessarily. Once you acclimate to the burn the flavors open up, I get a dominant cinnamon on the swallow and that tangerine on the nose reintroduces itself on the finish. Would I purchase another bottle? No, but I don't regret purchasing this one either.
