Reviewed August 23, 2024Nose: coffee, caramel, peanut brittle, cinnamon, baking spice, vegetal notes, hazelnut Taste: caramel, peanut brittle, cinnamon, vegetal notes, hazelnut, coffee. This has the complex, rich, deep flavors you'd expect from a barrel proof whiskey. The typical rye notes are excellent when paired with the sweetness of the double oak, while still smooth and approachable.60.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed June 1, 2024 (edited October 18, 2024)The first thing that jumped out at me was the unique diamond shaped bottle. Very nice presentation. After pouring into a Glen Cairn glass, the legs on the side are almost like maple syrup. Nose is charred oak on steroids. Spiced caramel and sticky toffee pudding. Hot and sticky sweet on the palate. A candied bacon rye bomb. Finish is surprisingly lengthy. It somehow goes from bubblegum to charbroiled steak. Not for the faint of heart. I can imagine a single malt snob having a brain aneurysm trying this. Best new spirit I've tried in months.
