Nose: caramel apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, cherry, nutmeg, vanilla, sugar cookie, oak, peanut, peach, leather, hazelnut Taste: reflects the nose with peanut brittle and caramel notes This is the epitome of barrel proof bourbon and what all bourbons should aspire to be. This is the gold standard. Easily one of the best bourbons I've ever had. I've had many rare offerings from Buffalo Trace including Weller Full Proof, Blantons SFTB and Gold. None come close to this. Incredible depth, flavor, complexity and quality.

Nose: cinnamon, rye bread, nutmeg, brown sugar, maple Taste: cherry, brown sugar, cinnamon, maple, butterscotch I have several critiques. This has more proof but no added depth or complexity. The flavors are all very common and not interesting. Also, personal preference here, but this just tastes like basic bourbon. I love bourbon but when I buy a rye, I want a rye. It seems pointless to make a rye with the lowest amount of rye possible so that it just tastes like bourbon. I've had better whiskeys at much lower prices and proofs. Too much heat, not enough flavor. Really hoping this opens up.

Nose: cherry tootsie pop, vanilla, creme brulee, peanut, wood tannin, nutmeg Taste: wood tannin, apples, cinnamon, cherry, nutmeg, peanut A really quality bourbon for the price. Has all the flavors that I love at a really approachable intensity. A nostalgic pour for me and one that I'd recommend for anyone getting into bourbon as this captures the essence of it.

Nose: vanilla, apple pie, cinnamon, almond, brown sugar Taste: reflects the nose with the apple pie notes shining through in the middle and the cinnamon spice notes in the finish. This is everything I look for in a bourbon. You shouldn't hesitate to get this if you enjoy sweeter bourbons. I've had most expressions of Weller and many other wheated bourbons. This is the best. Nothing overly complex but delicious flavors and aromas.

Nose: vanilla, graham crackers, mixed berries, toffee, marshmallow, Taste: butterscotch, vanilla, caramel, graham cracker, cinnamon, peanut, mixed berries Consistent Jack Daniels quality with the added toasted notes. However, the lower proof and some strange fruity notes on the nose and taste take away from it for me.

Barrel 145, warehouse H, rick 35, 128 proof. Nose: cinnamon, brown sugar, peanut brittle, maple Taste: reflects the nose. Very simple and typical bourbon flavors but extremely rich and deep. Very high quality whiskey and a must try for any bourbon enthusiast. This is definitely not a beginner whiskey this blows every other Blantons expression away.

Nose: caramel apples, cherry, nutmeg, cinnamon, oatmeal raisin cookies Taste: reflects the nose with very prominent caramel apple notes This might be the best nose on any bourbon I've ever had and the taste is equally delicious. The lighter sweet notes are showcased perfectly. This bottle is really special and I'm going to savor every drop from it. Absolutely worth the price. This is a super high quality bourbon with incredible flavors at the perfect proof. Hell yes.
