Nose: toffee, caramel, brown sugar, coconut, cherry Taste: reflects the nose with cola, caramel, peanut brittle flavors. I'll definitely be seeking out more heavy char bourbons because I'm a huge fan of this flavor profile. Extremely rich and flavorful. High quality bourbon thats worth every penny. Tastes better and is easier to find than most allocated bourbons.65.0 USD per Bottle

Nose: peanut, cinnamon, floral, oak Taste: floral, honey, brown sugar, vanilla, cracker jacks I love everything this company is doing. The bottle looks excellent. The whiskey is all barrel proof and truly small batch or single barrel. Its all sweet mash. Quality is obviously a priority and their whiskey displays that. The tour is an excellent experience as well.80.0 USD per Bottle

Nose: coffee, caramel, peanut brittle, cinnamon, baking spice, vegetal notes, hazelnut Taste: caramel, peanut brittle, cinnamon, vegetal notes, hazelnut, coffee. This has the complex, rich, deep flavors you'd expect from a barrel proof whiskey. The typical rye notes are excellent when paired with the sweetness of the double oak, while still smooth and approachable.60.0 USD per Bottle

Cazcanes No. 10 Blanco Still Strength
Tequila Blanco — Tequila Valley, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed August 20, 2024Nose: agave, floral, blueberry, cinnamon Taste: reflects the nose. This bottle is extremely hyped up. Yes, its rich, quality, additive free tequila. However, I wouldn't put it leagues above tequilas you can find much more easily and at a lower price point. I've had better tasting, more complex blancos for half the price.120.0 USD per Bottle -
Appleton Estate 12 Year Rare Casks
Aged Rum — Jamaica
Reviewed May 16, 2024 (edited September 6, 2024)Nose: molasses, vanilla, hazelnut, wood, hints of fruit Taste: reflects the nose It has a dulled funky, fruit nose thats typically more prominent with Jamaican rums. Thats substituted but the elegant barrel notes that come from the longer age. Overall, a very well balanced and tasty rum. Great on its own or in cocktails -
Nose: pear, oats, honey, vanilla. Very subtle Taste: reflects the nose with hints of coconuts and honeydew. I'm biased as I'm not much of a Scotch drinker outside of Islay Scotched. I can appreciate how smooth it is and how much flavor it brings for the low proof. However, I don't feel its worth nearly what MSRP is personally. If you're a fan of blended Scotches though, you'll appreciate this.
