Sagamore Spirit Port Finish Rye (2019 Release)

Exactly what I look for in a rye port

Tasted on 5/15/19 at Whiskey House, San Diego.

The port is there, but in the background, lending a dark fruit note of date and raisin. Plenty of rye spice balanced with sweetness. I’m getting vanilla and brown bread. Nicely done.
