Hornitos Añejo Tequila

This is kind of indistinct if I'm being honest. There's nothing wrong with it, but I don't get the smoke or other interesting darker notes I like in an anejo. Instead, this feels quite smooth and almost warm, but with not much that stands out. I do sip on this certainly, but its not sacred enough to warrant never mixing with it either.

In the aroma I get fruity, minty, vanilla, vegetal and peppery. It’s quite sweet in the taste with a very slight taste of mint and more up front fruity and vanilla and caramel. Late taste of pepper.

Not as good as the Black Barrel, but for the price for an añejo it is a good sipper.
