This is 1 of the 2 ryes, along with Thomas H. Handy, of the 5 whiskeys known as the Antique Collection. This straight rye was aged in Warehouse K at Buffalo Trace. This whiskey is named for the Sazerac Coffee House in New Orleans, which was the first place to serve the Sazerac cocktail with rye whiskey instead of Cognac.

Tasting Notes

"This has more of a weighty, oily texture than the Handy. Apple and pear fruits with true rye bread flavors - some molasses, clove, allspice, black pepper. A faint hit of peppermint and thyme dries out the finish, but there's still enough to savor."
