Sazerac Rye Single Barrel Select

This is for Blackwell’s pick. Nose is musty. There’s lemon. Brine. So sour. Play dough? Body is gummy bears, tangerine, cherry, powdered sugar. Finish is grape juice, black pepper. Mild mint. Blood orange. Having this back to back with the main line, this is leaps and bounds better. I like Sazerac, but it lacks depth and feels overly musty and briny in this side-by-side. In comparison, this store pick is sweeter, juicier, and gentler. It stretches my imagination to figure out how this is connected to standard issue, but this is precisely why I love BT store picks of all types of labels. Truly wild.
