Seagram VO is of lower shelf quality but has a higher shelf price. It is of the same low quality as Canadian Mist or Black Velvet but the price is much higher. The nose is creamy corn and ethanol. The entry is bland with a Johnny One Note of creamy corn with ethanol on the palate and finish. A faint shadow of its former glory of the 6-year-old seventies VO before the breakup of Seagrams.
Very bitter all around - slight hints of vanilla in the nose that don’t deliver in the taste. The finish is very rough, with a hot, piney aftertaste.
