Shackleton Blended Malt

A pleasant mild scotch.

This was a neat one. Definitely got some smoky scents on the nose, with some hints of vanilla. The palate brought out some honey, with more smokiness at the finish. Gives off the impression of being a peated scotch, without actually having to endure the peat (I enjoy peat, but others obviously do not).

Beautiful fruity and sweet smell. Tastes like your quintessential scotch, lots of fruit and grain. Medium richness, remarkably well balanced.

A good blended. Starts lemony, ends smokey/ashy. Not too harsh.
