Reviewed March 3, 2024a sweet caramel note to start that begins to bring out some cinnamon spice, light mint, some herbality, orange peels and some mild fruity notes. Closer to the finish the oak and spice comes out, with the finish beging long and hot on account of the ABV (119 proof). Its not mind blowing but it makes a good old fashion, is a great price for a cask strength and reminds me a bit of the old forester rye. although lacking the more floral and eucalyptus notes of the forester.
