Skarucna Serpent's Spit

An intense, herbal Brandy from Slovenia. The body is that of Apple brandy while the infused herbs include lovage, thyme, anise, fennel, catnip, pot marigold, rosemary & of course, some that have to remain a secret. It has a bitter birth with notes of mint, sage & a hint of honey; while a minty life adds more notes of apple & herbs, that led to a long & complex death with sweet notes of fruit & anise. (I think they stole grandma's turkey stuffing recipe!) September 2018 / January 2019
