Smoke Wagon Straight Bourbon

Taste like apple peels, nice spice, oak. Nice bottle at the price.

Nice balance of sweetness up front with layers lf vanilla and caramel paired with a spicy and fairly hot rye finish. Its not the smoothest bourbon, but its a good one.

Nose: Ethanol, corn forward Palette: Sweet on the front, ethanol, corn sweetness Finish: medium spice, little ethanol burn Overall: Pretty good, smooth, young bourbon. Not too complex. Value at $30 or less, no more.

Nose: Rye up front, floral, spice, fennel, caramel, and vanilla. Palate: vanilla, caramel, and black pepper. Overall: Alot of rye characteristsics, but the vanila and caramel notes tie back to bourbon. Nothing complex, but solid overall.
