Reviewed December 30, 2020A buddy’s barrel pick. Called “Firestarter”. I’m just happy to be with friends and my boy. Life is good. Vanilla, Carmel and some citrus finish. Love it! -

Reviewed December 24, 2020This was my first store pick. A 5-year barrel pick from my local store. I’ve never been a fan of barrel strength stuff. Too many of them are ethanol bombs for my pallet. But this one (barrel #24178), bottled at 58.8% alcohol is flat out delicious. Starts with a big floral nose that moves to toffee, peanut brittle, and honey on the palette wit a nose oak warm burn finish. One of the best bourbons I have tasted. -

Reviewed November 5, 2020I like the strength to this. The store pick I have is 57.5% ABV but seems stronger. Lots of caramel, vanilla and a warm finish. I love that this has some punch.49.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed October 29, 2020Nose: very fruit forward on the first go. Lots of dark berries and a little chocolate. So maybe chocolate covered strawberries (for the fancy people who smell 800 notes). Palate: very pleasant. Incredibly balanced between sweet and spice. Finish: hot finish that turns into peanuts. Very strong peanuts. Overall: very solid bottle for 5 years age. Store pick from Merchants wine & spirits in Knoxville, TN. Great price as well, I believe around $40.40.0 USD per Bottle
