The 3rd edition of the West of Kentucky Bourbon series from Sonoma County Distilling hit shelves in September 2016. This California bourbon is made from a mash bill of 60% unmalted Midwest corn, 35% unmalted Canadian rye, and 5% malted Wyoming barley.
After aging at least a year in new, charred American oak barrels, it's bottled at 46% ABV. .

Tasting Notes
"This high-rye bourbon is quite grassy, but has a big layer of sweetness and spices as well. Caramel, fudge, menthol, it's all there. The palate continues down the same spicy path as the nose, albeit with a hint of chocolate, apple and orange peel as well. Tastes handmade, but with big and bold flavors."
