sortilège canadian rye whisky

A mostly neutral rye whisky that would do just fine as a mixer, but on its own this is a bit harsh and has some slight medicinal notes that I don't love. An interesting hint of maple, presumably from being finished in maple casks. I see how this makes a good base for the Sortilège maple liqueur but won't be drinking it on its own.
