This cask strength single malt from the last distillery standing in Scotland's Campbeltown region spends seven years maturing in ex bourbon barrels. It then spends an additional two years picking up characteristics from a Marsala wine cask.

Tasting Notes

"An earthy, almost musty nose with cinnamon spice cake, honey, and malted milk balls. A bit of Maraschino cherry is thrown in for good measure. The taste is supremely rich and oily, with wood varnish, wax, vanilla, and spice. There's a little salt but less than one expects from Springbank. A hint of peat. Water brings out tangerines, milk chocolate, and bitter orange."
