"An earthy, almost musty nose with cinnamon spice cake, honey, and malted milk balls. A bit of Maraschino cherry is thrown in for good measure. The taste is supremely rich and oily, with wood varnish, wax, vanilla, and spice. There's a little salt but less than one expects from Springbank. A hint of peat. Water brings out tangerines, milk chocolate, and bitter orange."
