St. Elmo Dark Cherry & Vanilla Bourbon

A smooth, easily drinkable cherry vanilla bourbon that went well as a mule at Saint Elmo’s in Indy. Highly recommend!

Man I was hopeful for this one… tried it neat to start, made all the hair on my arms and legs stand up, not good. Strong, medicinal cherry cough syrup with barely any bourbon to overpower it. Threw in a couple cubes and swirled to chill…. barely helped, still made funny faces. Added cola, tolerable. Something low-end like red stag is waaaaaaaay better. I won’t share this with friends, and I’m one of those Chicagoans who ENJOYS doing shots of Malört which doesn’t hide what it is. With enough coke zero ill get through the bottle, but I won’t buy again or ever tell a friend to waste their money. Who greenlit this trash?

I wanted to like this but just can't. I tried neat and on the rocks. Too much like cough syrup. It may work with some Dr Pepper or Coke but I'd given up already

Sweet, sweet, sweet. Needs cut with soda.
