St. George Dry Rye Reposado Gin

Themis was such a unique gin. Definitely worth a bottle if you are able to find. Using the Dry Rye version of their three spectacular main line gins, was key here. The rye and white whiskey quality of Dry Rye lent itself perfectly for a bit of barrel aging. Try in a Negroni, Old Fashioned, or neat.

strong but well balanced flavors-- juniper, citrus, spice-- over the dry rye base. A little fruit and vanilla roundness from aging in oak give this the elegant finish. I love barrel aged gins, and there are some very good ones more readily available than this rare bottle, but this is worth the search.

Not a gin fan; but the base notes from the casks put this into the “like” category A year later: this is growing on me and is now my favorite gin to sip
