Stagg Barrel Proof Bourbon 22B

Caramel right from the start. Serve it in a broad rimmed glass with a cube of ice to unleash the beast. Ethanol? No way. This has way more character and pizzaz!

Very straightforward and non complex bourbon. Just heat (alcohol) and sweet (typical buffalo trace cherry vanilla sweet).

8.7/10 Cinnamon, grape soda, heat

Nose - Loads of cinnamon and deep, dark barrel char. Theres some sticky notes of caramel. Some stale leather comes through giving that classical bourbon scent. Palate - You got that classical bourbon taste here. Lots of vanilla, cinnamon, oak and leather. Nothing else jumping out, just a really good traditional bourbon. Finish - More of the palate with some herbal notes.
