Nose - pretty similar to most bourbons with some toasty sweetness, but has some grassy tones too Pallette - it hits hard up front with tins of spicey earthy herb, has a hair of subtle sweet grass, then stays in your tounge for such a long time. Almost feels like theres an artificial flavor on the end but i cant pin it down Had some high hopes for this one, and im not too sure how it stacked up

Nose - a little birght and sweet. Maybe some toffee or vanilla in there Pallette - tons of sweet brown sugar and mellows out with a little fruit and a sweet vanilla finish. Not too shabby

This one caught me a bit off guard compared to the original 10. It's much more oaky with those bitter wood tanins. Prefer the 10 but not a bad pour

A nice Speyside! It's light with hints of Carmel apples, almost briney but certainly no peat. Reminds me a bit of an Oban 14

Has that signature ardbeg peat you know and love. It's followed up by some chocolates and coffee creaminess though. Really good!

This one was highly anticipated and it ended up being pretty solid. It was a great balance of sweet darker fruits and the signature oaky vanilla of so many bourbons. A great pour but nothing crazy outlandish

Nose - sweeeet dark fruit like grapes, substantial oak as well as maltiness Palette - loads of that dark fruit and some spicy oak Finish - really opens up with a lot of sweetness, like buttercream Really good offering from Balcones, not surprised either 😅 I'll be finding a bottle of this for sure

Nose - sweet vanilla and nail polish Palette - toasty cinnamon vanilla, maybe some dark fruit like prunes? Edit it's raisins for sure Finish - some spices with little burn Pretty good! Better than I was expecting but has some bite

woah, malty tropical fruit like a mango or papaya with a peppery sweet finish. very different and good

smells of sweeeet vanilla toffee, dry oak then Hawaiian fruit punch followed by some mustiness. Solid for sure!
