Heat. Alcohol burn. After adding water cherry and maple come through. Flavors of maple syrup and pancakes. I did not enjoy the neck pour but after revisiting it several months later it had transformed into one of the best bourbons I've had. 131.9 Proof

Classic Buffalo Trace nose: lots of cherry with some brown sugar. Does not taste 131 proof at all, very smooth. Sweet vanilla taste on the tongue and a slight tobacco finish on the taste. Medium, oily finish that lingers on your tongue for the perfect amount of time.
