Fantastic batch. Classic BT profile on steroids! This is so balanced and complex. It has an extra gear over other batches. Longer finish Very impressive; loved it ~4.6

Almond and caremal, well balanced. Strong but not alcholic.

Stagg Jr. Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch 9 Received a sample in trade. Proof: 131.9 Glass: Glencairn, rested 15 minutes. Color: Medium amber. Nose: Cherry pie with vanilla ice cream. Palate: Honey, baking spice, toffee. Finish: Warm and very long. Splash: Baking spice gives way to cherries. Overall: 9/10 - proof is a bit high for a daily drinker, but would probably be great with an ice cube. Delicious!

Nose: caramel, cherry, vanilla, sugared Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Oak. Body: full, mouth coating. Palate: caramel and cinnamon. Finish: long and a wonderful Kentucky hug. Note: an taste from don. This is friggin delicious. What really sets this apart is how full bodied and flavorful this is. It’s not a complicated bourbon but what it does it does at a level ten. This is really good.
