"The barley cereal notes flooding from the glass is an exhibition of how skillfully they pull spirit from their still. Yes, the flavor profile will vary from barrel to barrel but it’s their delicious spirit that stamps each batch with consistency. Wet straw and some fruitiness warm up the mouth but it’s the pleasant balanced fresh-grass-sweetness toying with a stern peppery bite that dominates. The entire package dries out quickly leaving you with a long lemon pepper fade with just a trace of mild cigar tobacco and honeycomb. "
