I was dooped. Went to the store wanting Glendalough Single Grain, passed on Saint. Kevin for this beauty. Didn't know if I was getting Bourbon or Irish gold, to be honest the label sold me. It's a freshy. The liquid is aged 2 years. But, it don't taste young! Introduced to the states a year ago from Australia!! I've had the Teelings line up and those bros taught me wine barrels and Irish whiskey are beautiful. This particular whiskY can compare to those of Teeling. The nose smells of a budget bourbon but the liquid rolls like a good Irish. Flavor is up front like a good whiskey and the finish is dark fruit that kinda lingers in a nice way. Everything about this whiskY is excellent from the cork and label to the liquid itself. Do not pass this bottle up.. I would recommend it as a gift, like a hey I know what good whiskY is.. ha! Enjoy!
