Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey (Discontinued)

I really enjoy Stranahan's. It's rich, the velvety oiliness coats the mouth with some mild cinnamon, nutmeg and maltiness. It does have a nice bite on the front of the tongue at first and finishes sweet, buttery and short.

The nose has the alcohol smell with vanilla and wood but the palate is sweet and turns into the flavor of the blue gummy sharks you get at the large travel centers. Very nice and very well done!!!

Extremely reminiscent of an American brandy, particularly a Thompson Seedless. I would rather drink this than most Highland single malts.
