Smooth as hell

Just a really bad aftertaste for the price. Expected better.

Really nice for an American single malt. Great depth of flavor with smokiness and fruit. Really light on the palette.

The nose greets me with lots of caramel and vanilla. A little bit of fruit and spice. The palate opened up with darker spice like clove, more malt sugars or oat nature with a fair amount of oak or young wood. The finish is hot but then settles into a nice char and sweetness. At times I have really enjoyed this bottle, while other times it tastes young and hot. Overall, I like this and will certainly buy it again.
