Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey (Discontinued)

I've had several batches of stranahans that have varied in quality from solid, to damn good. one thing they all seem to have in common though, is the need to open up a little. I recommend opening up a bottle, drinking it down past the neck, and forgetting about it for a month before revisiting. Some characteristics that are always present for me... caramel and oak on the nose followed by ripe banana, baking spice, vanilla and oak on the palate, ending with a smooth caramel finish.
