Reviewed March 4, 2023Bright yellow in color with thick legs and nice clarity. Herbal spices, lemon and licorice on the nose. It’s creamy and sweet with some intensity on the tongue. A little bitter. I’m getting lemon, anise, mint and juniper flavors. It’s very comlex but balanced. Overall, it’s interesting and versatile. I enjoyed it neat, chilled, on the rocks and in an Autumn Leaves cocktail with rye whiskey, apple brandy, sweet vermouth and cinnamon tincture. -

Reviewed June 3, 2022A bit medicinal. Thick, syrupy texture. Sugary sweetness upfront (hints of vanilla) with a strong herbal finish (a touch of anise). Not too bitter, but still intense. It's fine but it's not my favourite.Toronto -

Reviewed January 22, 2022 (edited June 9, 2023)1.22.22 Served: Neat, flute Bottle open: <1 Year Comparing with Galliano Aroma: Saffron, curry rice, anise, fennel, hay, caramel Flavor: Hits the tongue sweet and fruity, mainly lemon with light vanilla. Mids with anise and saffron. Finishes savory and starchy like curry rice with a bit of skunkyness too. Beautifully complex. Would pair wonderfully with paella.
