** Be aware!!** This does have peat. It’s very light, but it is there for those who don’t like it. It’s not a very overwhelming whiskey and not very diverse. And $3 less I can buy Eagle Rare, which has world class flavor. Save your money for a better Japanese whiskey.

This was my first experience with Japanese whiskey, so this review might not be too fair, since I don't know much. I like it, it's lighter feeling than bourbon or scotch. Nose is a little strong alcohol feel. The taste has a little bit of a floral taste to it, to me it tastes like there is slight hints of gin in it. I want to try this again, and see if I get more out of it the next time. I definitely will be using this in cocktails, feels like it would be great in that.

It's a very good, very 'sippable,' and very Highball-able Whisky that's enjoyable when it's used as prescribed by Suntory themselves. It's not versatile, like a JWR, but it's not made to be so. A little ice, in Half-Rock style, or the aforementioned Highball, and you have the perfect evening......or Breakfast!

Light ,fresh and sweet blended whisky. Green apples, some mint ,some citrus. Easy to sip. Worth the price, bought for 20€.
