Grainy and grassy neat on both nose and taste (reminds me of suntory so that’s a good thing) and a couple drops of water or on the rocks and it brings out a light charred strong oak smell and taste love this for how cheap it is Evan Williams has competition in my collection for cheap chug bottle.

I bought this for $7 in Louisiana after reading the reviews here and was not disappointed. I’d absolutely buy this again as it is better than some bourbons that are triple (or more) the price.

A little harsh

Got this KY only handle on our Bourbon Trail trip as a recommendation at Total Wine. For $20.99 this is a total winner. Not overly complex but has a sweet vanilla nose with a hint of caramel and oak. Sweet on the palet with a medium mouth feel gives way to barrel char and corn. Fairly short finish with a tiny bit of lingering spice. Usually bargain bourbon comes with quite a bit of ethanol kick on the back end but this glides smoothly and ends nicely. What a great bourbon for the money. If I could get this in OH it would easily be an every day sipper. Next trip I'm getting a bunch of these.
