Complex, including peat smoke, which is the foremost flavor. But unlike in an Ardbeg, for example, it fades and allows room for other notes to be expressed. Seaweed, saltwater, and earthy savory tastes - is that dried meat? Barely any sweetness to be had. It’s tough to call a $70 bottle of liquor a bargain, but this is masterful stuff at a price within reach.

Good stuff. Peppery but not overly strong that way. Smoky and buttery.

Floral, fruity, vanilla on the nose. Which gives way to smokiness. Light smoke hits which develops into pepper and spiciness. Also notes of citrus. Dry finish which intensifies the smokiness.
