Talisker 18 Year

Complex but perfectly balanced - classic Talisker pepper but a bit mellower - in my young scotch journey, this has been one of the best-tasting

Honey and lilac and baby's breath (the flower) on the nose. Palate punches with citrus. But it lingers to sweet. The peat also comes at the end. Leaves a lot of tannin, but it's balanced. This is really good. Smoother than the 10 but not too smooth. Not significantly better, but it is really fantastic.

Smokey nose. Oily mouthfeel. Tastes of some smoke and? (can't pinpoint it) 🤣. Great scotch. Would be awesome with cigar as its flavor could match a cigar's intensity of flavor.

Nose- floral notes of heather and of course sweet sea spray Body- orange marmalade, sea spray, sweet grass l, and menthol Finish-grass, mint and sea spray This is fantastic! The minty grassiness of the peat comes through more than the younger renditions.
