" The main difference between these two expressions is that the Dark Storm is matured in heavily charred oak casks, adding a level of smokiness to the expression that Talisker claims they've never reached before.

Tasting Notes
"An interesting combination of balsamic, lemon rasp and sour grapes, complemented by sweeter aromas of cherry syrup and marzipan. The smoke is very soft and gentle, although more dominant on the palate, which is also seriously spicy. A layer of sweetness rounds out some of the spiciness. Smoke and chili peppers linger on the finish."
