Well rounded taste. Toasted caramel on nose. A significant upgrade from the regular 10. Got it for $95 from a local store. After a glass, I’m going to get another one for later.
It's Talisker 10 with a dollop of sweetness, like maple syrup or dessert wine, and maybe a bit of coffee bitterness added as well. The usual toasty, peppery, warming Talisker flavors are there too, though just a touch muted compared to the 10 year old version. Lots of flavors, and they play well together. Great on a cool autumn evening. (2013 bottling)
