Bunnahabhain 12 Year
Single Malt — Islay, Scotland
Reviewed October 27, 2020 (edited March 13, 2021)This one needs patience. Pour a dram, add 3ml of still water and wait about 10 minutes. The character changes a lot with water and reduces the bitterness of the finish. With water the nose is nutty, with dried apricots and berries. The palate become toffee and caramel with a Christmas Pudding touch of raisins and dried fruit. The finish is round and woody, with a nice vanilla note too. A really fantastic value for money pour that everyone should have.36.0 EUR per Bottle -
Dalwhinnie 15 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed October 27, 2020 (edited January 31, 2021)Fair value for money but not particularly complex. A great one to show a newbie their first scotch. Floral, fruity nose with a lot of citrus and some mango. Palate start strongly and sweetly before retreating for a longish spice finish. I don't tast any peat.28.0 EUR per Bottle
