Talisker Storm

Not quite as smoky. Nice.

Has the peaty goodness that you come to expect from Talisker, but with a briny quality unlike any other. The smoke is stepped up a notch from what you find in their 10yo offering, as is its caramel qualities. The finish does have some kick to it, it isn't as refined as it could be. It's a nice medium between their Dark Storm and 10yo offerings.

Nose is quite smokey and salty. Smells like smoke over the ocean. Warm and spicy on the tongue. Balanced and very rich. Peaty and smokey finish. Feels like I can blow a smoke ring at the end. 89/100.
