Talisker Storm

Smokey and rich, saline and citrus notes on the spicy finish. Spice and some dryness lingers. Cant wait to compare it to the 10 year.

Too young and unrefined. It has a an unappealing raspy charcoal flavor to it. I would recommend you save your money and pony up for the Talisker 10 which is far better.

Decently smokey with a nice brine to it as well. Oakey wood and mild pepper notes follow the initial smoke. Then fading into sweet fruits and a bit of orange citrus. Mouth feel is refined and very middle of the road. Not thin but also doesn't coat your mouth. Just a touch too sweet for me.
