Tamdhu Batch Strength Batch 008

Tamdhu Batch Strength 008 is a limited edition Speyside single malt Scotch whisky matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry oak casks sourced from Jerez, Spain, using a combination of American and European oak. Bottled at 55.8% ABV, this expression is part of the distillery’s Batch Strength series and is bottled close to cask strength without chill-filtration or added color. Tamdhu, founded in 1897 and located along the River Spey, takes its name from the Gaelic for “little dark hill.” It is owned by Ian Macleod Distillers, which also oversees sister distilleries Glengoyne and Rosebank.
