Tamworth White Mountain Vodka
Tamworth Distilling // New Hampshire, USA
This vodka is made from all local grains and is milled, distilled, and bottled in Tamworth, New Hampshire. Made from a mash of 80% corn and the remainder is a blend of rye and malt. Remind you whiskey fans of anything?
Unflavored VodkaDistilled from any agricultural product, most commonly grains or potatoes. Typically distilled to 95% ABV. Water is added to bring the spirit down to as low as 37.5% ABV in the EU and 40% ABV in the US. It is usually filtered, often with charcoal, prior to bottling. It is almost always clear and unaged.
"This bold vodka focuses on one thing: vanilla. The powerful aroma exudes artificial vanilla almost exclusively with a touch of heat from the alcohol. Though the palate offers a more natural taste, it finishes with a lick of char. Have on ice to remove the heat or make some White Russians."
