Tattersall Straight Rye Whiskey

Very strong Rye bite. Great for spicy old fashioneds!

Pretty strong peppery start, ends in a nice smooth maple note with an oaky linger

Grassy smell and tasting, very interesting!

I liked it in an Old-Fashioned. I tried it neat and it burned pretty good on the way down. Will stick to drinking it in Old-Fashioneds or Manhattans.

I've never done tasting notes before, and this is my first rye. However, I get strong rye spice up front that's met by an also strong sweetness, helping to manage it. If you think of rye bread and what you'd imagine a rye whiskey would be, this is it.
