Odor:
Light, like the color. Extremely volatile, alcohol content is very evident. Spicy, not very sweet. Tickles the nose.
Taste:
The spice is immediately evident - proof of it's purported rum cask finish. Alcohol is not overpowering. The whisky travels the tongue well. The spice at the front gives way to brown sugar and butterscotch at the back. Perhaps a citrus component? Difficult to tell.
Finish:
The spicy odor predominates well after the sip. The mouth numbs. Butterscotch and molasses fill the mouth and linger, pleasantly.
