Reviewed March 3, 2023Just could not taste that irish shiskey. Thought I was drinking a smoky scotch. Probably due to the oak. Just not a top lister for me. Beautiful box and bottle. -

Reviewed February 8, 2023NOSE Caramel frosting, herbal spice, citrus peels, nuts, light vanilla, dried fruit, and oak. A nice dark aroma that starts spicy and herbal, but turns softer and sweeter as it opens. PALATE Dried fruit, oak, copper, herbal spice, toffee, roasted nuts, touch grassy, and vanilla. Oak comes in heavier making it a bit deeper and a touch tannic. FINISH Medium -> Herbal spice, toffee, oak and some dried fruit. -

Reviewed November 18, 2022A very smooth and crisp smell. Lots of spice and black pepper. Sweetness too with vanilla and caramel. Buttery toast and ginger. Woody charred long finish. Complex but smooth. -

Reviewed November 4, 2022Remarkable. The cask aging imparts a wonderfully nutty, and slightly spicy patina over the sweet barley distillate. A warm, round, open and welcoming expression. Notes of banana, ginger, buttered toast, sweet tobacco leaf, and light baking spices add a festiveness to the affair. Long finish, with the semi-dessert flavors percolating for several minutes. A lovely Irish in the top five we’ve ever enjoyed. Irish whiskey fans, do yourself a favor and buy a bottle or two as soon as you can. You’ll return to it again and again.
