El Mayor Reposado is produced from 100% estate-grown Blue Weber agave harvested in Jalisco. The agaves are cooked in an autoclave rather than an oven and the cooked agaves are shredded with a mill rather than a tahona.
Twice distilled in copper-lined pot stills, it is bottled at 80 proof after aging in American white oak for 9 months. .

Tequila ReposadoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged from 2 months up to a year in barrels no larger than 20,000 L. Any type of wood is acceptable, although ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Reposado translates to "rested".

Tasting Notes
"On the nose there's light, white pepper coupled to a little floral; fleeting vanilla complements the spice and flowers, and there's some modest barrel influence. Some understated spice reappears on the palate--think baked apple. But more important is the enhanced vanilla and some more fully developed caramel (maybe candy apple if we put it all together). The finish, though it seems to shed any specific spice, is nevertheless hotter and peppery (black this time)--but is of modest length."
