Tequila Reposado
Tequila Ocho // Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico
The name "Magueyera" refers to the single estate ranch where the agave is grown for this tequila, a play on the word "maguey.
" The agave is grown 1600 meters above sea level in gray clay soil, which it shares with Guamuchile trees, in south-facing slopes which benefit from full sunlight.

Tasting Notes
"There's a huge difference between the Reposado and Plata of this same harvest! This one is a trip to the tropics with flavors of pineapple, mango, tangerines, lemons and canteloupe. Vanilla and sweet, warm spices enter the mix, with white floral aromas and a yeasty/baked bread quality. Like a good Prince song, it's both funky and smooth."
