Reviewed December 8, 2021Nose is iodine and honey and vanilla, a strange combination Palate is smoke and spice and a strange “funk” I can’t put my finger on? Maybe mixed fruits? Finish is short with spice and wood. Interesting dram. After a lovely nose maybe a bit disappointing -

Reviewed December 8, 2021Nose I know that it's a speyside whisky but I am getting some of medicinal iodine notes often typical for some of coastal distilleries, some leather polish , and then of course lots of honey and floral notes, some ginger and vanilla Taste Sweet, oily mouthfeel, ginger honey comes through, a bit of papaya fruitiness not much flavour complexity . The funky notes are also detectable on the palate but not as obvious as on the nose. Dry peppery finish -

Reviewed February 15, 2020Strong alcohol up front, melting into a peppery taste with a hint of orange. It leaves a strangely herbal aftertaste and a long burn at the back of the throat. A little harsh for my taste.8.41 GBP per Pour
