Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year

This is refreshingly different and not your typical sherry bomb or peat monster. It is the best rum finished product that I have tried in a long long time. Nose: Dark fruits, vanilla, and toffee/caramal Palate: Honey, caramel, vanilla, dark fruit and oak Finish: Oak tannin and slightly astringent with a lingering rum finish in the middle of your tongue. Mouthfeel: Starts off creamy and then seems to evaporate as it finishes. It definitely coats the mouth.

Liked it more than I remember. Sweet but not over the top. Easy sipper
