Balvenie Portwood 21 Year

Blended to pure perfection. Has a little fruitiness in the Aroma, but complex to declare what is mixed. Cant smell the raisin notes but do smell the floral & skins of the fruit. Palate - Hint of maple & vanilla - some say their is a hint black cherry. Light oakey finish - long finish and complex finish.

Raisins on the nose, sweet caramel and fruit on the tongue with a smooth finish and a shorter than expected aftertaste. Subtle hints of spice here and there, let it breathe a bit. Overall a great whisky, maybe not so much for the high price but I’m sure some will disagree

Not huge fan of the finish.

Starts with fruit and distinct spice, velvety toffee on the finish. Perfect dram to end my work day.
