"A peaty nose fades into hints of white pepper and lemon. This single barrel is richly spiced and sweetly honeyed — exactly what you’d expect from a Balvenie single malt aged in American oak. This Scotch has a long finish with notes of vanilla and caramel, before coming full circle for the tongue to find tastes of tobacco leaf and green wood."
